Norwich, Connecticut October 4, 2014 – The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale is enthusiastic to announce that it will be bringing its exceptional Muscadine products to the Connecticut Renaissance Faire, located in Norwich, Connecticut each weekend in October, 2014. The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is one of several Northeastern fall events in which The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale will be participating throughout the fall season.
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is full of family-friendly activities, and offers a little something for everyone. This exciting event offers Renaissance-themed activities, while providing an educational experience as to what Renaissance life was like. Experience the Renaissance through era-specific reenactments, food, clothing and even authentic language! "Thanks to a plentiful harvest, we are fortunate enough to be able to take part in a number of fall festivities throughout the Northeastern region this year. Events such as the Connecticut Renaissance Faire present an ideal opportunity for the local community to familiarize itself with the health benefits of our Muscadine grape products," Said Dr. Lucinda Cassamassino DiFalco, Founder, CEO and President of LC Development, LLC., the company that manages The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale.
Based on recent studies, Muscadine grapes have been found to be loaded with resveratrol, which is a powerful phytonutrient found throughout the skin, pulp and seeds of Muscadine grapes. Clinical studies suggest that resveratrol offers health benefits, including healthy cardiac function, skin rejuvenation and reducing the risk of cancer. But, what about the taste? Often times, foods that are the most nutritional are the hardest to include in your diet. Borgo Medioevale perfected the delicate balance between making healthy eating tolerable and an absolutely delicious culinary experience.
The Vineyard offers a variety of products such as ciders, whole hull preserves, vinaigrette salad dressing and even barbecue sauce! Borgo Medioevale’s concept is simple; produce healthy food, and make it easy for the average family to implement into their daily eating routine. While enjoying the day at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire, be sure to visit Borgo Medioevale’s tent. You will be able to experience just how delicious healthy eating can be for you and your entire family!
