PRESS RELEASE
SWANSEA, SOUTH CAROLINA November 3, 2011 -- After experiencing success with its initial product rollout for the 2010 holiday season, The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale will unveil two new Muscadine ciders following its second harvest this fall.
Among the items that will be offered at
Borgo Medioevale's online catalogue will be a white (Carlos grape) cider and red (Noble grape) cider. Both will be available in time for the holiday shopping season. These ciders will join a family of Muscadine grape-based products from The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale, including their blush cider (a mixture of both red and white Muscadine grapes), as well as Muscadine chocolate bonbons, Muscadine grape preserves, Muscadine glycerin soap and Borgo Medioevale’s signature Musca-drizzle™.
"Our white and red ciders are delicious additions to the dinner table at a holiday gathering," said Borgo Medioevale Founder, President and CEO Lucinda Cassamassino DiFalco. "In addition to providing a unique taste that goes great with any meal, our ciders and other Muscadine-based products provide a variety of health benefits."
The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale was first planted in 2007 and just enjoyed its second harvest. Borgo Medioevale will distribute the vineyard's wine, cider and other Muscadine-based items nationwide with an emphasis on the Northeast, an area which has never before had an opportunity to enjoy these unique Muscadine products. At The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale, additional vineyard acreage is scheduled to be planted and maintained in an eco-friendly way, to enhance local agriculture and create jobs while holding true to the company’s mission of fostering the harmonious co-existence of Man, Industry and Nature.
