PRESS RELEASE
Courtland, Virginia April 1, 2014 – The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale is delighted to announce that they will be bringing their uniquely delicious Muscadine products to the Southampton Renaissance Faire, located in Courtland, Virginia on April 12 & 13, 2014. This is one of many events throughout Virginia in which the Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale will be participating during 2014.
“We are truly delighted to take part in a number of wonderful festivities in Virginia this season. It’s an excellent opportunity for the local community to familiarize itself with a variety of Muscadine grape products that we offer. As many may already know, Muscadine grapes are loaded with resveratrol, which is a powerful phytonutrient found throughout the skin, pulp and seeds of Muscadine grapes. These festivals give us the opportunity to present our healthy products to the local community, and allow us to share our wealth of knowledge on eating healthy with Muscadine grapes as a daily diet staple. Considering that all of our Muscadine grape products, from our ciders to our hull preserves and spiced butter, offer a host of natural ingredients, we have the chance to help people make healthier lifestyle choices without sacrificing taste,” said Dr. Lucinda Cassamassino DiFalco, Founder, CEO and President of L.C. Development, LLC., the company which manages The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale.
The Southampton Renaissance faire is a family-friendly event that couples modern fun and Renaissance-themed festivities, while also providing an educational glimpse at a time period that may otherwise be simply a part of books and legends. Bring the whole family and experience Renaissance-period games, food, tradespeople and much more by attending the Southampton Renaissance Faire, Saturday, April 12th through Sunday, April 13th.
The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale embraces a philosophy espoused by its managing company, L.C. Development, of coexistence between man and nature, and that industry’s primary duty is never disrupt this balance through aggressive over-production or poor ecological practices. While taking in the sights and flavors of an ancient period at this year’s Southampton Renaissance Faire, be sure to visit The Vineyard at Borgo Medioevale’s vending area to experience their remarkably delicious and healthy Muscadine grape products.
